Hidalgo and Rocker

Bob Herzog at Newsday, writes about, former Met, Richard Hidalgo signing a deal with the Long Island Ducks to join, also former Met, Edgardo Alfonso:

The former Met connection continues for the Ducks. Outfielder Richard Hidalgo was signed yesterday. He'll join infielder Edgardo Alfonzo, signed in February, in what should be a potent lineup for the independent Atlantic League team on Long Island.

There are two reasons why I am posting this; one the Long Island Ducks are in the same league as my favorite independent league team, the Bridgeport Bluefish (whose manager is Tommy John) and former Brave John Rocker was on the Ducks last season. As of now, the Long Island Ducks roster is not updated , so I am not sure if Rocker is still on the team.
