Fernando Martinez homered, tripled and walked Tuesday in his second game for AA Binghamton. 18 year old Martinez is 5-for-8 through two games.
Kelvin Mulvey on the other hand was not so great. In his first start for the Binghamton Mets (AA), Mulvey didn't make it out of the 2nd, giving up 7 earned runs and 4 hits. He also walked 4, while striking out 1 and allowing a homer. His ERA is a solid 47.25. Mulvey was the Mets first pick in the 2nd round of the 2006 draft. So far, no good. I'm not loving Mulvey. I did not really think much of him and spring training, but he's young so lets see what hes got.
