The Waikiki BeachBoys clinched the Hawaii Winter Baseball East Division title and advanced to championship game Sunday with a 6-3 victory over the Honolulu Sharks. Mets prospect Dan Murphy broke out of a 3-for-25 slump in the fifth of that game with a three-run homer, his fourth of the year. Murphy is batting .274 on the season with 4 home runs, 21 rbis, 17 runs, 22 strikeouts, and 11 walks in 26 games. The real MVP for the Beachboys this season has been Canadien born prospect Emmanuel Garcia. Garcia is batting .348 in 17 games with 8 stolen bases, 13 runs, 8 walks, and 7 strikeouts.
