The Mets called up Mike Pelfrey, Phillip Humber, and Willie Collazo last saturday. Pelfrey has had 1 start going 6 innings with 1 hit, 1 run, and 7 strikeouts. Pelfrey is set to pitch in his second start after being recalled Friday night.
Humber has allowed 1 run in 2 innings and 3 hits. Will Humber ever get a start for the Mets? Last year when he was called up he pitched relief and the same can be said this year.
Willie Collazo has looked sharp for the Mets and pitched very well for AAA New Orleans this entire year. Collazo has pitched 1.2 innings allowing 0 runs and 2 hits. Willie went 6-5 in 53 games for AAA New Orleans with a 2.46 era and has shown a good fastball and a nice slow changeup.
