Trade:

The Mets acquired 1B Jeff Conine from the Reds for Single-A OF Sean Henry and SS Jose Castro.Castro was batting .318 for A St. Lucie, with 12 doubles, 1 triple, 2 homeruns and 25 RBI in 77 games. Castro also represented St. Lucie in the all star game. Sean Henry hit .298 triples, 11 HR, 57 RBI and 18 stolen bases. I liked Castro and believe he could turn into a pretty good player but the Mets want to win this season and Conine is a solid veteran to come off the bench.
