Easley will be missed

If you have not heard Damion Easley is most likely out for the season. Easley was a big bat off the bench throughout this season. The acquisition of Connine does not provide the same power off the bench that Easley had. I am going to miss how clutch Easley was; earlier this year Easley hit a homerun with 2 outs and 2 strikes against Damion when he tied the game with a solo shot in the 10th inning. A week later against the D-Backs Easley had the go ahead 3-run shot in the 9th to give the Mets the win. It is going to be hard to replace the pop off the bench and the clutch abilitly of Damion Easley and in my mind Connine is no replacement.
