Adam Rubin at Daily News reports that that Anderson Hernandez will soon be promoted from Triple-A New Orleans to replace Valentin on the roster. Hernandez hit .208 in April in Triple-A, then .240 in May, .333 in June and is hitting .371 with five doubles and a triple in 62 at-bats in July. Hopefully he will be able to hit and stay on the Mets which he was unable to do last season.
