Chan Ho Park and Jorge Sosa both pitched six scoreless innings while starting games in a doubleheader for Triple-A New Orleans on Sunday.
Park allowed two hits, walked one and struck out six. Sosa allowed two hits, walked two and struck out five. The two appear to be battling to be the first pitcher called up by the Mets. Park will be the next option if Pelfrey does not pitch well when called up.
