Chan Ho Park, who has posted a 113-87 record with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Texas Rangers and San Diego Padres, today signed a one-year major league contract with the Mets. Park, a 33-year-old righthander, will be in Port St. Lucie, FL when the Mets' pitchers and catchers hold their first workout on February 17th. In 1,746.2 career innings, he has 1,507 strikeouts, an average of 7.7 strikeouts per nine innings.
